new bathrooms!!

I don't have pictures yet but sarah just told me the children have running water and a toilet!!

Sarah was also able to start on a new building, had it cleaned up and painted for class rooms and was able to purchase books, bags and paper supplies.

NOW is the big push!!! We need 198 sponsors. 35.00 a month will provide food, medical and clothing.
We also need help raising money for the furtherance of this new building so the children will have better sleeping conditions and a safe protected play area!!

This will care for the children until the hope of land is purchased and we can build a BIG facility to bring hope and purpose to these children. There they will be able to live, go to school and as they grow learn a trade to care for themselves as adults.

Prayerfully consider joining me on this journey!!!
My heart is heavy and excited at the same time-"Oh Lord you love these children bring those that are to be your hands and feet."

For your Glory Lord!

Flower Power!!

Thankful so thankful!!!

My first real day of orphan awareness for the 200 orphans in Cote d 'Ivoire was a great success!!

Tess Thomas (an 8th grader) designed these darling flower pins to help raise money last Christmas for a family in need.  I asked what she thought about making them for the orphans and after prayer she said "Yes."
The house was buzzing with creativity- gals and guys giving of their time to help make flower pins to raise money!!

Along with the beautiful pins-My friend Carol Harkness offered to sell her amazing oil paintings of her flowers to help raise money as well. Check out her work at carolharkness.com

We raised 700.00 !!!

Wow -I am so thankfull for all the support and love!!
And So thankful to Leslie Ringger (from Lifesong who went to Africa with me) for driving 6 hours to come and help me with this event and other important details about the orphans!! We went to bed about 2 am on an average!!! Love you Leslie!!

another story of Gods grace

Today Karl went to a mens breakfast. There was a man there telling his story of adoption. 53 years old, graduated boys, a grandfather, not thinking of adoption. At 57, he has a 3rd grader from Haiti. The story was a WOW! God worked in an amazing way to bring this child into a loving family! That is the story!
