Fun Photos from the Fundraiser Fashion Show!

What a spectacular night it was raising awareness and financial support for Sarah's Children. Having Sarah herself there made the night exceptionally special! The night started with worship with Christy Nockels then a wonderful job sharing new fashions for the fall with accessories including Choisi flower pins and several wonderful items from 147 Million Orphans. All of this was followed by a moving talk and powerful singing by Nicole C. Mullen. We were able to raise over $2,000. Thank you to all for your support.

So, please take a look at the photos from this fabulous event! Just click on the Fundraiser Fashion Show page at the top of the blog! To view the photos in a gallery style click on one of the photos and enjoy!

Sarah is here!!

I am so excited to say..Sarah will be at the Fundraiser this Sept 30th!!
I can't wait to see her, hear all the update on the orphans so I can properly share with all of you where we are in this journey.

As many of you know she and her family had to flee the country and have just returned to their home after 8 months!!

I can't express enough the place of desperation these children are in!! We need land and a building to house them in!! Pray with me for the Lord to guide us where he wants that to be!!

Another Huge prayer request is we need a missionary or husband and wife to live with the children to be my advocate there in Abidjan to handle all the financial needs and be the hands and feet and voice to the children to bring them hope!!!

I pray the Lord guide me in this last week of preparations for this huge Fundraiser event...this Friday.
I pray for all those involved in helping this event be a special night..May it glorify you Oh Lord!!

As of today, Sarah and her family still have not been able to return to Cote d'Ivoire but God has taken care of them!!!! Someone has given them a home to stay in for free they just have to pay for water and electricity.

While being where there Sarah has found many orphans that are at a refugee camp that are in great need!!!

Our goal now is to try and get the orphans from Abidjan out of the country and move them to Togo Africa. Build an Orphanage there and open it to these other orphans as well from Togo living at the refugee camp. Sarah has found some land and I am waiting to hear more details about the cost etc... I am waiting to meet with Dr. Vanderpool who may be assisting us in the building process. We will see!!!

WE are at ground zero again!!!
We need help!!!

Any Ideas, suggestions, help is much appreciated!!

You can log onto www.lifesongfororphans.org and send donations through this non profit organization that has partnered with me. Just indicate it is for Cote d'Ivoire.

Keep praying!!

Good News

I finally heard from Sarah and Marya!
They have not been able to return to Abidjan. So ther is no telling what shape their home is in. But they have been able to get word that the 50 orphans are in good spirits, happy as can be.

Sarah has said it will not be safe to keep the children in Cote d'Ivoire, so we are praying for the miracle of getting them either out of the country or to find a safer place near the border.

We praise God everyone is safe, and now waiting for what the Lord has in store.

Our next big push will be the need for money for new land and the start of a building to house the children and a place for school.

love to you all

news from the daughter

I just spoke to one of Sarah's daughters who is here in the USA. She was able to clarify the story that happened 2 Sundays ago. The Muslims had been watching the church and learning the routine. They came in while the deacons, elders and cleaning crew were getting ready for the service. They tied them all up and began beating them, asking "where is Bishop Adebayo?" Then they put a gun in their mouths and NON of the guns would shoot!!!!
Praise God what a miracle!!!

Marya had just been there at the church with the choir. They ended practice much quicker than they ever do so they all had gone home!!!! Praise God!!!

Wow!!

Praising the Lord at the response of the Flower Pins at the Girls of Grace Conference in Smyrna !!
We raised $1,400 for the orphans!!

Thanks to ALL of you that worked so hard at making the pins

I had Donna Anderson in California and her group of ladies that get together every Sunday to work on crafts help make pins. I had help from my dear friend Joy also in California,...girls from the Foundry at Fellowship Bible church, my daughter Audrey her friends Ellen Crouch, Marian Wayland, Sarah Keaggy and Graham Luker, Cheri Keaggy, girls from my 242 group and my faithful flower pin makers.. Carol Harkness and Kim Brewer!!

This need will continue for some time SO....
I would love any one who loves to unwind and do crafts or get together with friends for fun and work on crafts to email me let me know if you would like to be a part of this journey raising awareness and financial help for these orphans!!!

Bringing joy and purpose to orphans,

For His Glory,
Sandra
